Somaliland National Youth Organization (SONYO)

SONYO brings together 35 active youth organizations under its umbrella from Hargeisa, Sahil, Awdal, Togdheer, Sool, and Sanaag. Its primary aim is to empower young individuals and youth organizations in Somaliland to overcome their difficulties and achieve the needed political, social and economic reforms. Accordingly, one of SONYO’s approaches is to build youth capacity is via trainings and mentoring.
