Our Thematic Areas
We equip youth with practical, in-demand skills to improve their employability and unlock access to decent work opportunities. Our training programs are demand-driven and aligned with the evolving labor market, combining technical skills with soft skills such as communication, problem-solving, and teamwork.
Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are engines of local economies. Shaqodoon supports MSMEs with tailored technical assistance, market linkages, and digital tools to improve their productivity, formalization, and growth potential.
Shaqodoon is committed to ensuring that no one is left behind. We focus on gender equity, GBV prevention, reintegration of returnees, and targeted services for vulnerable groups such as displaced youth, persons with disabilities, and women-headed households.
We foster a culture of entrepreneurship by supporting young people and women to start, grow, and sustain businesses. This includes business development training, mentorship, crowdfunding platforms, and access to seed capital through grants or revolving funds.
We leverage the power of technology to enhance development outcomes, close access gaps, and improve service delivery. Our approach includes developing custom digital platforms, promoting digital literacy, and supporting innovation hubs that serve youth and civil society.
We support communities to build resilience to climate shocks and promote green practices that protect ecosystems and create livelihoods. Our environmental programming promotes awareness, policy advocacy, and eco-entrepreneurship.
